BUST A MOVE MONDAY (BAMM) SEPTEMBER 14th, 2009

BUST A MOVE MONDAY (BAMM) is an initiative of The New Olivet Baptist Church. New Olivet Pastor Dr. Kenneth T. Whalum Jr. is the CEO.

A chosen black-owned business in the Memphis community is patronized by B-A-M-M! supporters. While B-A-M-M! recipients are black-owned businesses, B-A-M-M! embraces the community at large. The ultimate goal is to create wealth in the African-American community and make a favorable impact on the overall stability of the Memphis economy.

Bust-A-Move-Monday, an initiative to bolster black-owned businesses in the Memphis community, will B-A-M-M! the Tri-State Defender on Monday, Sept 14.

The Tri-State Defender is located at 203 Beale St., Ste. 200. B-A-M-M! staff and volunteers will be outside to aid supporters. Newspaper staff also will be on hand to greet passersby.
